The Outer Banks is known for having the most shipwrecks in America! They have several historic light houses that make for a perfect quick trip to check out. Approx. 1hr drive, but so worth it! Bodie Island Lighthouse is another very historic light house that Lucas and I really enjoyed, and is located in Nags Head.

One of our favorite restaurant/bars in the Outer Banks. The Tortugas Lie has delicious cocktails, always order an Orange Crush at any Outer Banks bar, and has an amazing outdoor space that includes bags sets and a sand volley ball court.
