Question
Is this wedding ever going to happen?
Answer
Third time is hopefully the charm! The wedding party has been officially rescheduled to April 23, 2022. We got legally married (hooray!) on our original date, April 25, 2020. We will be excited to celebrate two years of marriage with you!

If I RSVP'ed for the 2020 party, do I need to RSVP again?
Answer
Please do! We know life and plans change, so please RSVP again on this site.

Will there be parking at the venue?
Answer
Yes! There will be free parking on site.
Question
If I'm coming from out of town, should I rent a car?
Answer
Public transportation in Austin isn't great, and the city is quite sprawling (aka not very walkable, and the venue is out in the suburbs), so we recommend renting a car and/or taking Lyft or Uber. One additional tip is that near the venue, there are a couple of toll roads. When you're looking up directions, we recommend switching to the "avoid tolls" option. It shouldn't make a big difference time-wise in arriving, and we don't want you to get hit with any unexpected fees (Texas only does tolls by tag/license plate scanning). Austin traffic is notoriously bad; apologies ahead of time.

Dinner will be from the Salt Lick BBQ - don't worry, we wanted you to get your fill of Texas BBQ! There will be vegetarian-friendly options as well. We'll have an open bar with a selection of drinks available.

Are kids welcome?

The celebration is limited to those explicitly invited. We ask if you live in the Austin area that your kiddo hangs with a sitter for the night as their parents enjoy a night out.

Wait - are you guys getting married at a playground?

The Rabb House is located next to the Play for All Abilities Park. When you turn in to 151 N A.W. Grimes Blvd, you will see the park on the right. Continue past it, following the signs for Rabb House. How many adults end up on the swing set is TBD (the park is pretty awesome).

What should we do in Austin?
Answer
Check out the Things to Do page for a few too many recommendations. The wedding is taking place in Round Rock, a city just north of Austin. We highly recommend exploring different parts of town such as South Congress and downtown. Austin is a bit sprawling and there is a lot to see!

Do you care when and what is posted on social media about the wedding?
Answer
No! We encourage you to post pictures, check in, whatever the youngins do.

Is anyone changing their name?
Answer
Yes! Both Sara and Levi will have Carlson as their middle name and Star as their last name.
