Travel to NYC

For out-of-town guests, we recommend either flying into one of NYC's airports (JFK, Laguardia or Newark) or taking an Amtrak train into Penn Station. JFK and Laguardia airports are closest to the ceremony and reception. To get to NYC from the airport, we recommend taking an Uber or renting a car. You can also take the subway if landing at JFK .

Freehand New York

There are numerous hotels in NYC but if you're looking for one close to the ceremony, we recommend the Freehand New York. It's a ten minute walk from the ceremony. We have setup a block of rooms with a single queen bed for $249 per night excluding taxes.

Travel Note

Travel to Reception in Sayville

The easiest way to get to Sayville is to drive a car. If you don't have a car, we recommend taking the train known as the Long Island Railroad (LIRR), which is located at Penn Station, a short Uber or taxi ride from the ceremony. Once at Penn Station, take the Babylon line of the LIRR to the Babylon stop and transfer to the Montauk line and get off at Sayville. Once you get off at Sayville you will need to order an Uber to get to your hotel. We will have a bus taking guests from from the Hilton Garden Inn to the reception leaving the hotel at 4:30pm. The bus will make trips back to the hotel starting at 10pm after the reception.

Hilton Garden Inn Islip/MacArthur Airport

For the reception, we have setup a room block at the Hilton Garden Inn Islip on both Saturday, August 12th and Sunday, August 13th. The rate is $229 per night on Saturday and $159 per night on Sunday excluding taxes. The hotel is ~15 minutes drive from the reception venue in Sayville.
