Easy/Moderate
Wander across more than 200 acres of forest and through a maze of thickets on a trail that traces a small brook and passes vernal pools and other wetlands. 206 acres of open space in New Marlborough open to the public. Last 200 feet will take you to the summit with spectacular views Easy/Moderate
Moderate to Difficult Well marked trails lead to the top of Monument Mountain's Squaw Peak. Beautiful multi-state views. Sunrise, sunset, mid-morning never fails to satisfy when one needs a peaceful getaway. Don't forget to reward yourself for the Hickey Trail Climb with a nice sit-down on the boulders, enjoying the sun, breeze and bird song! ( This is Sara's favorite hike)
Certainly one of nature's wonders, simply a beautiful place with several trails along side the river which brings you to a number of different rock formations each with it's own water fall. I highly recommend Umpachene Falls, it truly is a beautiful reminder of the outdoor splendors we have been given to enjoy. Don't miss walking below the falls along the river toward the bridge and watch the peaceful meandering of the water providing ample opportunity to reflect, meditate or pray as this is a special spot.
A GREAT waterfall and small optional hike. The largest waterfall in the Berkshires

FABULOUS Museum!!!!!
A beautiful home of the famous sculptor who did the Lincoln Memorial. His studio, home and gardens are open to the public.
Sara's favorite home museum. The most exquisite gardens, decorative mansion and photo opportunities :) You can pretend that you too are a famous writer, escaping the NY social scene in your tucked away 19th century mansion overlooking gardens and mountains.
