FAQs

The Wedding Website of Sara Jacobsen and Joshua Lisk
Below are a few FAQ's we took the time to answer in advanced. If you have further questions not listed below, please don't hesitate to reach out to the bride or groom for further assistance.
Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony starts at 4:00 pm. Ideally, guests should arrive between 3:45 pm and 3:55 pm. Please note that the grounds are limited prior to 3:30pm, so we kindly ask that guests arrive no earlier than then.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code is "Rustic Elegance". This includes warm, earth tones, florals, long dresses, suits and nice jeans. Part of the day will be spent outside, so please prepare for the elements. Avoid stiletto shoes.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Although we love your kids, we regretfully cannot accommodate them at the venue due to restricted numbers. We hope you appreciate that the only children attending are in the wedding party.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Please let us know as soon as possible if you have any dietary restrictions. We will have gluten free options available, however please let us know if this partakes to you so we can accommodate your needs appropriately.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Allrose Farm has a parking lot on site. Both the ceremony and reception will be at the same location. No need for traveling in between!

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Yes, please see the "Travel" section on our website to view a list of hotels/accommodations. Note that we only blocked rooms at Riverhouse and the Greenfield Inn. Please let them know that you are reserving a room for our wedding when you call to book. Other hotels are included on the website but lodging is not guaranteed.

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Your presence on our big day, love, and well wishes are the greatest gifts of all. If you feel inclined to give, we would appreciate a thoughtful contribution to our new home as we continue to renovate and build our lives together.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Due to limited capacity at our venue, we are unable to accommodate plus ones at our wedding. Only those named on the wedding invitations are invited. We appreciate your understanding.
