Good ole TINDER (its a dating app for those of you who don't know)
We had drinks with Jordan's family, Michele, Lester, Zach and Shayna. After we departed, we wandered over to Blue Rooster and ordered fried brussel sprouts. While munching away, Jordan and I decided to "make it official." We're doing this thing. Boyfriend and Girlfriend!!!!!!!
We were hiking to the summit of Mount Carrigain, one of the 4000 footers in the White Mountains. At an elevation of 4682 feet, the butterflies got REAL. When we returned home, Sara said "I love you" outside on the porch at Jordan's Parents house, and that was it!
Harper got used to being the one and only man in his mom's life, so when Jordan came around Harper was not happy. One night, Harper woke us up, prompted us to follow him out into the living room as if it were an emergency. He then proceeded to pee on the carpet FOR A FULL MINUTE. He glared at Jordan the whole time. This was Harper's way of trying to scare Jordan off. Luckily it didn't work. Harper loves Jordan now! Phew!
Harper was not happy about this either..... We adopted Lola! We welcomed our first fur-child as a couple. She's the bee's knees.
When we first met, I (Sara) set some expectations about how Jordan should propose. I asked that Jordan make sure my nails were done, that there was a photographer to capture the proposal and that we date for at least 5 years first..... NONE OF THOSE THINGS HAPPENED.... But here we are. I said YES anyway. Jordan was going to propose on May 5th, but I got a flat tire that day and was in a horrible mood. Jordan was being awfully weird all weekend. I thought that Jordan was going to break up with me, tell me he was dying, or propose. Thankfully, it was the last option! Jordan proposed on May 6th, 2018 at Kettle Cove!
