Please RSVP by September 1st so that we have a number for the caterer.
Absolutely! We are happy to have children at our wedding. Please keep an eye on them throughout the evening.
If a plus one is not included in your online RSVP section, just let John or Sara know that you would like to bring a guest and they will get them added.
Yes! Both the church and the reception venue have ramps for easy access. The ramp to the church is around the right side of the building.
The wedding party will be wearing burnt orange so please refrain from wearing that color :)
The Catholic Nuptial Mass is a solemn Mass where the Bride and Bridegroom become one flesh (Genesis 2:24). Holy Matrimony is one of the seven sacraments of the Catholic Church. John and Sara ask for silence before Mass so that everyone can enter into prayer and raise their minds up to God. Please refrain from using your phones to show reverence toward the Mass. Here are a few things to expect: there will be some readings from the bible, a homily from the priest, then John and Sara will say their vows. After there will be a moment of brief silence followed by the nuptial blessing by the priest, and then there will be the Liturgy of the Eucharist. Regarding the Eucharist, this is the source and summit of our Catholic faith and is treated with great respect. If you are Catholic and are not in a state of grace or if you are not Catholic we ask you to refrain from receiving our Lord in the Blessed Sacrament. However, please come forward for a blessing! We are happy to have you here and we thank you for your understanding with this important and sacred part of our faith. It is such a joy to share it with all of you.
There will be a program for you to follow during the Mass so that you will not be confused. Also we ask you to remain silent after the Mass and exit the Church in a timely manner to allow the Bride and Groom time for professional photos with the family. We appreciate your understanding.
Please put any dietary restrictions you would like to be accommodated for in the RSVP and your meal will be made separately.
