Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes. If it does not, we kindly ask that it just be you in attendance.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Adults-Only Reception: While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us. We are not allowing any children to attend other than the 2 in the wedding party.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal/cocktail attire.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Is there transportation to and from the hotel to the reception?

Answer

There will be a shuttle service available to and from the Chicago Marriott Southwest at Burr Ridge and The Bridge Lemont.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Ceremony: There is a parking lot located directly to the East of St. Christina Catholic Church. Additional parking is available on Christiana Street or in the school parking lots. Reception: Complimentary valet parking will be available for those who wish to do so. Otherwise, the closest parking garage is located on River Rd/Stephen St. There is also parking available in the Metra lot, located at 16143 New Ave.

Will there be any vegan/vegetarian/gluten free/special diet options?

Answer

A vegetarian option (pasta) will be provided upon request. Please indicate on your RSVP card. If you have any further dietary restrictions/concerns, please reach out to Sara or John.

When will the reception end? Will there be an after-party?

Answer

The reception ends at midnight. For any guests that would like to continue the celebration, the hotel bar at the Chicago Marriott Southwest at Burr Ridge will remain open until 2am.

What should I do if I can’t make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly.
