Our Story

They had both been in the same industry for years, moving in the same circles, attending the same kinds of events—yet somehow, they had never met. Until that conference. It started with an easy conversation, the kind that feels familiar almost immediately. What surprised them wasn’t just how much they had in common, but how effortless it all felt. They laughed easily, lingered a little longer than expected, and neither of them seemed to notice anything else happening. But everyone around them could feel it. There was something about the way they looked at each other, the way the conversation never stalled, the way the rest of the room seemed to fade while they were talking. It wasn’t subtle. The connection was there, happening in real time, impossible to miss. And yet, when the conference ended, they didn’t exchange numbers. It should have ended there—one of those “almost” moments. But it didn’t. He found a way to reach out, and when he did, it felt like picking up right where they left off. No hesitation, no awkward start. Just the same easy connection. From that point on, they were rarely apart. What began as a chance meeting turned into long calls, shared days, and a closeness that built naturally, without pressure. It just unfolded the way something right tends to. And somewhere in the middle of all those simple moments, it became clear to both of them. That brief meeting at a conference hadn’t been ordinary at all. It had been the beginning of everything.
