There are so many things to do at Moran State Park! -Cascade Lake: Swim, kayak, canoe, or fish in Cascade Lake, a picturesque freshwater lake located within the park. Orcas Adventures offers a variety of boat rentals and fishing opportunities. -Hiking Trails: Explore a variety of hiking trails ranging from casual nature walks to more challenging hikes, offering opportunities to experience the park's diverse landscapes, including forests, lakes, and waterfalls. -Mountain Biking: Hit the mountain biking trails that wind through the park's forests and hills, offering thrilling rides and beautiful scenery. There's no need for a car to see Friday Harbor. Everything is within walking distance of the ferry landing, and it is easy to get around, including shuttle buses and a trolley to take you around the island, as well as bike, three-wheeled Scootcoupe, and moped rentals. From Friday Harbor you can also catch an inter-island ferry to Lopez, Orcas, and Shaw Islands.
