To the forest we go!!

*if you know.. you know..* One silly tinder bio and a lot of bad jokes later, Sara was hooked. Who knew Jeremy had so much charm.

For the two year anniversary of our first date we took a weekend trip to the mountains to see the fall colors. I essentially planned the entire thing. Booked everything, made a rough itinerary, gave the perfect set up to Jeremy on a silver platter. Our first full day up there I decided we were going to go for a cute picnic in Cades Cove, which just happens to be one of my favorite places on the planet. Jeremy knew that was his moment and planned the surprise. It was magical and everything I could have wanted. Shoutout to the 100+ humans that kept that moment a secret from me in the months leading up to our trip. I know I'm marrying the worst secret keeper in the world and y'all's ability to be double agents is astounding.

After many conversations about who's last name we would take, I joked that we should just pick a new one, and Jeremy agreed. After all, it's not a rule that we have to take one of our existing names. :) So here we are, The Briars!!
