Jeremy and Sara first met at a university event called Valley Bally Hoo in August of 2018. Sara was there for her sorority and Jeremy was there taking pictures. Their paths first crossed when Jeremy offered to take a picture of Sara, one of her sorority sisters, and one of his fraternity brothers. The interaction was short, but it didn't take much for the attraction to form. After 8 months of Jeremy subtly asking Sara out, and Sara completely missing the hint, they finally hung out a local brewery in their hometown of Charlotte, NC. Immediately the two hit it off and became quick friends. After a couple months of flirting and getting to know one another, the two finally became a couple in April 2019. The two decided to spend a year in a discipleship residency with a wonderful family of 8. In this residency they both grew in their walks with the Lord and were mentored on Christ-centered marriages. In March of 2021, this residency took them to Eleuthera Bahamas on a mission trip where their relationship with God grew even deeper. It was also the same place Jeremy decided was perfect to ask the woman he loves to spend the rest of her life with him. The most perfect surprise to Sara, in one of the most beautiful places. A relationship full of lots (and lots) of laughs, love, adventures, smiles, and trying new things. Now here they are, getting ready to become one body through marriage. Sara is currently in Charlotte finishing school, while Jeremy is in Cullowhee growing in his passion for business. The two cannot wait to be back together in their mountain home, to start a life together. They could not be more thankful for the people in their lives that have supported, encouraged, and loved them both over the years!
