FAQs

If you have any other questions besides what we have listed here, please contact our day-of coordinator Rose: gitanarose25@gmail.com
Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Guests need to RSVP no later than Thursday, November 5th. This can be done on our website or with the enclosed RSVP cards from the invitations.

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

We are registered with Zola and Target. You can check out our registry on the "Registry" page here on our website.

Question

Will there be social distancing, and do we have to wear masks?

Answer

For seating, there will be social-distancing implemented at the ceremony. We ask that guests wear their masks into the church and reception buildings, however, they will not be enforced. (If you want to leave your mask off for eating, dancing, and pictures, we totally get it). Dinner will be served by staff to limit contact with food.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The doors will open at 2:15 pm. The ceremony will start at 3:00 pm.

Question

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

If your kids are invited by name, then yes. If not, we would prefer if it was just you.

Question

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

If your invitation says "and Guest" then yes. If not, we would prefer if it was just you.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Think "Holiday Cocktail" attire, or semi-casual. Dresses, skirts, jumpsuits, dress pants, suit jackets, ties (or no ties) are all acceptable. (We just don't want to see any denim or t-shirts)

Question

Where can I park?

Answer

For the ceremony, guests may park in the church parking lot. For the reception at The Rec, there are about 20 parking spaces right next to the building. There is street parking directly in front of the building as well. Any additional parking can be found in nearby parking spaces a block or two from The Rec.

Question

Is the buffet dinner really all breakfast food?

Answer

Yes, because breakfast food is our favorite. What's better than eating breakfast food? Nothing.

Question

What are we actually eating for dinner?

Answer

Here is a breakdown of our menu: Kalua and Pecan French Toast Bake (with maple syrup on the side) Hash Brown and Cheese Bake Scrambled eggs Bacon Seasonal Fruit Salad (green grapes, pineapple, mandarin oranges, etc.) Sparkling Orange/Pineapple Punch Hot Tea & Coffee (with condiments) Mock Champagne bubbly cocktail Water (Instead of a traditional wedding cake we will be serving donuts!)

Question

Will there be bathrooms inside the venue?

Answer

Yes, there will be bathrooms available at the church and The Rec.

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

No.

Question

Can we bring our own alcohol?

Answer

We (the bride and groom) prefer to not have any alcohol. This will be a dry wedding reception.

Question

Can I smoke outside?

Answer

Smoking is not allowed inside the church or in the church parking lot. However, you may smoke outside of The Rec building at the reception.
