Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will be indoors. However, the cocktail hour will be outdoors if weather permits.

Are children allowed at the wedding?

Answer

Due to minimal seating, with the exception of the bride and groom's family, the reception will be a adult only event. If your child was invited, their name will show up when you RSVP.

Please RSVP by August 19th 2025.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We kindly request our guests to dress in semi-formal attire for our special day. Feel free to get a little dressed up, but remember, this is a celebration of love and fun! For men, this could mean a suit or dress shirt and slacks. For women, a nice dress, skirt, or blouse is perfect. We can't wait to see you all looking fabulous!

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, there will be plenty of parking right in front of the venue. Your are also able to leave your vehicles overnight if you choose to uber home.

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

The Morton Arboretum allows all wedding guests free admission into the park for the day of the ceremony. If you are from out of town and would like to explore the amazing scenery The Arboretum has to offer before the ceremony just let the parking attendants know you are there for The Hilliard wedding.

What time should I arrive at the Venue?

Answer

The Ceremony starts promptly at 5:30. We kindly ask that you arrive 15-30 minutes prior to that start time.
