Our love story began in the early fall of 2014. Like the beginning of many classic love romances, our meeting was facilitated through a mutual third-party (Tinder). After a week’s worth of flirtatious messaging, we agreed to meet in person. Our first date consisted of dining at Harrisburg's finest Indian restaurant followed by a night of enjoying one too many libations in a basement pool hall. Despite Sara's frequent face-touching and Jacob’s distaste of being touched, we continued our courtship over the fall and winter months. Over the next few years, our feelings for one other grew - we realized that this could be the real deal! In late 2016, we decided to take the next step in our relationship and move in together. We relocated to Hoboken, NJ, where we took up new jobs and Sara later began graduate school at NYU. Fast forward to December 2020. Sara had completed her penultimate semester and was enjoying winter break. On a seemingly unremarkable Monday night while relaxing in our apartment, Sara was pleasantly reminding Jacob that they had yet to be engaged. Unbeknownst to Sara, a very sparkly (Raymond Babbitt voice) ring was stuffed in his pocket. To Sara's surprise, Jacob revealed a little box with said sparkly ring inside and asked Sara to be his wife! In true Bruno fashion, he sat unamused on the couch that entire evening.
