You can tour Morton Museum for town history, check out the trains and depot and learn about the 1863 Civil War Battle.
There are also many local shops with clothing, jewelry, home decor, and a fantastic olive oil shop.
For dinner try Maeve’s Tavern, Cafe Piazza, Grisantis on Main, and Lost Pizza Company.
For breakfast Square Beans serves up all types of coffee and breakfast sandwiches.
There’s also our famous Dyer’s Cafe ( their onion rings our Amy’s favorite!), the Silver Caboose for traditional southern cooking and a great meat and three, and finally Mensi’s Dairy Bar (it’s a walk up with great shakes and ice cream but also burgers and fries.
The hotel is in our Carriage Crossing Mall that also has restaurants, shops and even an arcade.
