My best friend in every sense of the word. From meeting on a club volleyball team, to living together, to being inseparable ever since. Becca and I are often thinking and saying all of the same things - we truly have scarily similar personalities. She's the person who knows my every thought and feeling; we can't go a single day without talking. Becca always knows the right thing to say and will never fail to be there when you need her. She is someone that I feel lucky just to have by my side and getting married without her next to me would be a crime! Fun fact: Becca is basically a professional nail artist without the certification! If you have ever seen me with fun nails, they were undoubtedly done by her... she will even do my nails for the wedding day!
Erica Cooper
Matron of Honor
My cousin, but truly my sister in every way that matters. Erica and I have been best friends since birth — from pretend voice auditions to living room sleepovers. She’s the person who knows every version of me, from my awkward middle school years to the woman I am today. Erica has a heart of gold, is the clumsiest person I know, and is someone I will always look up to (or down to bc she's quite short). She’s been by my side through every milestone, and I can’t imagine saying “I do” without her there — just like she’s always been. Fun fact: Erica just welcomed her first baby (sweet Addilynn Blake) and it has been so amazing watching her take on this new role in life!
Briana Camden

My soon to be sister-in-law and Gabe's favorite (and only) sister! From day 1 of Gabriel and I's relationship, Briana made me feel like family. Gabe is so grateful to have had her growing up. With sweet memories like Briana protecting Gabe from Kaleb's bullying (sorry Kaleb), to not so sweet memories like locking each other out of houses and breaking glass doors... Briana is the most motivated, supportive, and loving person we know. We truly look up to her in every aspect of life. To top it all off, she has raised 3 of the best children we have ever met! Aunt Sara and Uncle Gabe just might be our favorite titles. Fun fact: Briana recently started her career as a teacher and is loving every second of it! All of her kids (actual kids and students) are beyond lucky to have her in their lives.
Rachel Lynch

The absolute light of my life! Rachel and I met playing volleyball, but living together as roommates is what truly brought us closer. From reading marathons to nights out, Rachel was there through every up and down. She played a huge role in getting me through my final years at Longwood. Rachel is the brightest, most pure-hearted and optimistic person I know. She can and will find the good in every situation, and it is RARE that you see her without a smile on her face. Her contagious laughter can turn anyone's terrible day right side up. Fun fact: Rachel has two of the sweetest AND craziest dogs you will ever meet. A pit mix, Anakin, and a great pyrenees, Okki, who match her personality and energy perfectly.
Isabella Jontz

My influencer queen! Bella and I spent our entire college experience together. We started off living in the same building, both made the volleyball team, and the rest is history. Although we live hours apart and both SUCK at texting... she is still someone I will always consider one of my best friends. What's even better is that her boyfriend, Thomas, is one of Gabe's best friends as well and is also in the wedding party! Bella is caring, competitive, and never afraid to speak her mind. She will always stand up for what she believes in and make a difference in this world. Bella is also basically famous on TikTok and shares my love for content creation! Fun fact: Bella and Thomas just bought their first house together and we are SO proud and excited for them! Now we're just waiting for her to get upgraded to a fiancé... *cough cough Thomas*
Lyssa Burr

My soulmate in friendship form! Lyssa and I have been inseparable since high school, where we met in our chorus class. I thought she was the loudest and most annoying person in that class, but naturally, she broke me down and wormed her way into my heart. Although she now lives all the way in Oklahoma, nothing can change our friendship, and we will be by each other's side through every part of life. Lyssa is the most outgoing, sarcastic, and strongest person I know! She is unabashedly herself and has created a family that I am so grateful to get to know and love. It has been amazing to be able to watch her grow and thrive as a wife and now a mother of two, and I can't wait to see where else life takes her (although I do wish it brought her a little closer to me). Fun fact: Lyssa pursued her bachelor's degree while pregnant with her second baby as a stay-at-home mom with her first! Mom by day and student by night, she can do anything she puts her mind to.
Grace Girdley

My twin flame! Grace Girdley, also known as Grace Jones, is my twin in every sense of the word. Without her, I don't know where I would be today. After meeting on the volleyball court, Grace called me up one day and asked if I wanted to be her roommate... we signed our lease the same week. Not only do we look alike, but we sound alike, think alike, and more. We have seen each other through all of the ups and downs and I will never be able to express how grateful I am to know her. Grace is the smartest, most selfless, and kind-hearted person I know! She will be the first to check on you and always knows the right words to say. I am so proud of how much she has accomplished since college and can't wait to see where life takes her next! Fun fact: Grace majored in English is college and is the best Scrabble player you will ever meet. I beat her ONCE in my life and made sure to write it on a sticky note and put it on our fridge... she still has that sticky note today :)
Kaleb Slayton
Best Man
My soon to be brother-in-law and Gabe's best friend and brother rolled into one! Kaleb was nothing but welcoming when I first came into the picture. On days when Gabe had to work, I would go bother Kaleb and even talked him into adopting two cats! Kaleb is someone that Gabe looks up to and always knows he can go to for advice. Although growing up they may have been close to enemies, they are now as close as ever. Kaleb is the most adventurous, energetic, and happy person we know! You could put him in a room with 10 strangers, and they would all be friends in 2 seconds. His energy and laughter is contagious and he will always have stories to tell from his adventures. Fun fact: Kaleb and his wife Liz have been traveling the states since their wedding in February of 2025. In an RV with two dogs and two cats, they are thriving on their adventures!
Adam Jones

My little brother and best friend! Growing up, Adam and I either hated each other or were best friends with no in-between. People hated being around us at times due to how much we fought and bickered, but I am thankful to say that it got better as we got older. I can now say that Adam is truly my best friend and I am so lucky to have him as my brother. Gabe and Adam quickly became two peas in a pod, acting like brothers (for better or for worse). Adam is the most confident, outgoing, and funniest person we know. He truly knows no strangers and becomes friends with everyone he meets. It has been an honor to watch him grow into the man he is today and see him thrive in life. Nobody will understand my humor or be able to quote movies/tv shows with me quite like he does and I wouldn't want it any other way. Fun fact: Adam followed in my footsteps, attending Longwood University and playing on the club men's volleyball team! He also adopted a cat named Stewie so now mom and dad have 3 cat grandchildren :)
Jacob Davis

Gabe's best friend from home! Jacob and Gabe have been friends since elementary school, growing up right down the street from each other. They have so many memories together, from playing football and video games to being in each other's weddings. Gabe is so grateful to have grown up with Jacob by his side, supporting each other through the different stages of life. Jacob is reliable, outgoing, and never fails to make you laugh. He has been there for Gabe through thick and thin, forever partners in crime. Jacob and his wife, Hunter, have a beautiful 1-year-old girl and a sweet dog, Rex. While we may not get to see them as much as we want, we couldn't imagine having this celebration without them. Fun fact: Jacob is 1/4th of an inch shorter than Gabe... (inside joke)
Thomas Woods

Gabe's best friend from college! Thomas and Gabe met through an ultimate frisbee club at Longwood, quickly becoming best friends. Thomas joined volleyball shortly after meeting Gabe, which is when our friend groups morphed together. This is also when Thomas met his girlfriend, Bella, who is also in the wedding party! The four of us quickly became close friends and there is never a dull moment when we are together. Thomas is competitive, caring, and, according to Gabe, cannot detect sarcasm (so please be extra sarcastic to him at the wedding). He is always one to check on others and make sure they have help when needed! He currently lives in Asheville with Bella, but we all try to find time to see each other when possible. Fun fact: Thomas is a Mario Cart pro and always knows how to get under Sara's skin during board game competitions!

Gabe's cousin, who just so happens to also be one of his best friends! Sammy is someone who always brought the adventure and trouble while growing up. From swinging on grape vines to pulling four-wheeler stunts that always seemed to go wrong, there was never a dull moment when these two were together. Sammy is adventurous, hard-working, and will always have a fun story to tell! As a business owner himself, Sammy has provided Gabe with countless job and learning opportunities. He has been a huge supporter in helping Gabe progress in his career. Sammy and his wife, Ana, just welcomed their first baby into the world, and we are beyond happy for them to enter this new chapter in their lives! Fun fact: Gabe, Sammy, and Kaleb often catch up while playing video games until late in the night.
Marleigh Camden
Flower Girl
Marleigh is a spunky, confident girl who is never scared to speak her mind! She is growing fast and will never fail to keep Briana and Michael on their toes. She works hard to keep up with her big brother and is an amazing big sister to Mayleigh. Marleigh competes in pageants and is a cheerleader for Braylon's football team! She even helped Sara find her wedding dress and took the best pictures during the experience. We love this crazy little girl and can think of no one better to be the head of our flower girl squad!
Gracelynn Cooper
Flower Girl
Gracelynn is a shy, but goofy girl who came into our lives as Erica's bonus daughter when she met her husband, Codi. Although it took some bribing with candy and love, Sara finally earned her trust, and now they are besties for life! Gracelynn brings light to any room she walks into with her contagious giggle and mischievous ways. She loves going on shopping trips to Target, playing with her cousins, and hanging out with her new sister, Addilynn. We are so thankful that Codi brought Gracelynn into our lives and now get to have her as a flower girl on the big day!
Mayleigh Camden
Flower Girl
Mayleigh is an independent, mommy's girl who holds her own as the youngest of her siblings. It has been amazing to watch her come out of her shell and become her own little person! Mayleigh competes in pageants, but also loves to play rough with her siblings. She looks up to Marleigh and Braylon, copying everything they do. We love her so much, can't wait to continue to see her grow, and know she will be an amazing flower girl on the big day!
Braylon Camden
Ring Bearer
Braylon is the one who made Gabe into an Uncle. He is growing into such a sweet and adventurous boy and we couldn't imagine entrusting anyone else with the job of ring bearer! Braylon loves to play video games, football, ride his four-wheeler, and hang out with his sisters. He is an amazing big brother to Marleigh and Mayleigh, keeping them safe as the oldest of the bunch. We love him so much and count down the days until we get to visit him next!
