Though Gabe and Sara knew of each other since Freshman year of college through a campus ministry they were both involved in, they did not start to become friends until second semester of junior year! On January 17th 2023, Gabe and Sara ran into each other at the Mizzou gym and Sara offered to help Gabe with any nursing questions as Gabe was about to apply into Mizzou’s nursing program and Sara had just finished her first semester in the program. Gabe took the opportunity and said he’d reach out. On January 20th 2023, Gabe asked Sara to get coffee at Lakota so they could “work on his resume”… and the rest is history!
