FAQs

Question

Do we need a negative covid test to attend?

Answer

YES! Please bring proof of your negative test to the wedding. You will need to show it at the door to enter. It’s not that bad. We’ve all had one. You’ll be fine.

Question

When should we get a test done?

Answer

A PCR TEST NEEDS TO BE DONE WITHIN 3 DAYS OF THE WEDDING (TUESDAY MARCH 30TH). PLEASE BE AWARE PCR TESTS OFTEN TAKE A FEW DAYS TO COME BACK. PLEASE DO NOT WAIT UNTIL THE LAST MINUTE TO GET THE TEST DONE! YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO ATTEND THE EVENT WITHOUT A NEGATIVE TEST! YOU CAN ALSO TAKE AN ANTIGEN WITHIN 6 HOURS OF THE WEDDING (12:30PM APRIL 2ND).

Question

Does a picture of our negative tests suffice?

Answer

NO. You must bring a hard copy of your negative test results to the venue with you! Please print it out. They will not accept a picture on the phone or email on the phone. It must be printed and given to them upon arrival!

Question

If I had the Covid vaccine do I still need to get a test before coming?

Answer

If you have had your SECOND shot on or before MARCH 18TH, you do not need to get tested. Although, it is still recommended that you get tested. Just because you’ve had the vaccine doesn’t mean you can’t have Covid. PLEASE BRING YOUR VACCINATION CARD AS PROOF TO ENTER.

Question

Where can I get tested with fairly fast results?

Answer

Just some suggestions we’ve heard good things about: CVS City MD in Commack AFC urgent care Northwell (need a script and appointment)

Question

What if I was positive in the last 3 months?

Answer

If you previously had Covid, and are no longer sick but still within the 90 day time period where it is suggested you not get tested, at this time, our venue is asking that you bring the results of your original positive Covid test and get tested again the Tuesday before the wedding (March 30) and bring the results from that test as well. You will also need to bring a letter stating you are no longer sick and have completed your mandated quarantine. This way they can show the difference in dates between tests. Please note, this information may change but as it stands right now this is what our venues protocol is.

Question

Do we need to wear a mask?

Answer

If you are up and moving around you will need to wear a mask. You do not need to wear one while seated at your table. We know it’s annoying but so is waiting an extra year to have a wedding. So just wear the mask.

Question

If I feel sick...?

Answer

STAY HOME! This shouldn’t even be a question, but here we are.

Question

Will dancing be allowed?

Answer

Yes! But masks must be worn and no bump and grind allowed. Save that for the after party, please.

Question

What about contact tracing?

Answer

Contact information has been provided to the venue/CDC in case they need to do any contact tracing. Our assumption is they will have you “check in” when you arrive to verify your vaccine/negative test and contact information.

Question

Can I take photos/videos at the ceremony?

Answer

We have an amazing photographer that will be documenting our special day for us! We are politely asking that all phones\cameras will be put away during the ceremony. After the ceremony, feel free to take as many pictures as you want! Be sure to check out the photo booth during the reception too!

Question

When should I RSVP?

Answer

ASAP! Our original guest list was almost 300 people! Due to the 150 person rule, we do have people we would like to invite if you are not able to attend. We understand you may be torn about attending. Please don’t stress! We love you and understand your covid concerns and it is okay if you can’t bring yourself to attend! But please don’t wait until the last minute to respond! We are stressed too and have a lot to do and cannot be chasing people down for a response.

Question

Does the ceremony really start at 5:15pm?

Answer

It will start at 5:30pm on the dot. If you are not seated by 5:30pm, you will need to wait outside until after the processional is complete.

Question

What time does the wedding end?

Answer

The wedding officially ends at 12am. So take a nap on your lunch break at work!

Question

Is there transportation from the hotel?

Answer

Due to no hotel block, people can book at any hotel. At this time there is no shuttle going to any specific hotel.

Question

Will it be an open bar?

Answer

This is New York. What kind of question is that?

Question

Should we address checks to Daniel and Sara Puglia?

Answer

Up to you. The Bride will not be changing her last name so Braverman is preferred but not necessary.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

NO. It is an adult only reception.

Question

Is it formal attire?

Answer

It’s not the Oscars but it’s the next best party! Dress to impress!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Due to our limited seats and covid, no. Every person was hand picked to attend. You’re special to us! But we have many other special people we are unable to share this long awaited day with due to the circumstances. Please be understanding that it was heartbreaking to cut our list in half to begin with.

Question

What do we do if we have a food allergy?

Answer

Please let your waiter know about your allergy and they will be able to accommodate you. PLEASE NOTE THE CAKE WILL HAVE NUTELLA FILLING IN 2 LAYERS.

For all the days along the way
