What should I wear?

Answer

Our wedding is black tie. Please wear a suit, tux, or gown/elegant dress. Make sure to have a warm jacket/coat, shawl, cape, stole, and/or long sleeves if possible. PS, bring your dancing shoes!

Where can I purchase a gift?

Please only gift in an envelope for the wedding.

What will the weather be like?

Answer

The weather will likely be cold despite the occasional warm and sunny days in February. However, the ceremony and reception will take place inside.

I want to go to the ceremony but I don't know how to occupy my time before the wedding. What can I do?

Answer

Check out our Things To Do section. I recommend hanging around Rockaway (close to the venue) or Ridgewood (close to the church). There are plenty of bars and restaurants. You can also go to the nearby casino if you are into it. Resort World New York is a 14-minute drive from Russo's on the Bay.

Is there is hotel block?

Answer

No. We did not book a hotel block since there are so many options in the area (JFK airport is very close) in all price ranges. Choose the best option for yourself!

Where can I stay?

Answer

Russo's on the Bay is about 10 minutes from JFK airport. There are over 100 hotel options near JFK at all different price points. I recommend the Hilton Garden Inn, Hilton NY JFK Airport, Crowne Plaza, Hyatt Regency (Casino), TWA Hotel, Comfort Inn, The Holiday Inn Express Jamaica, or The Rockaway Hotel if you feel FANCY. You can also consider the Crossbay Motor Inn, Hotel Mint JFK Airport, Hotel Pergola JFK Airport, or Surfside 3 Motel for a more economical choice.

Is transportation being provided between reception and hotels?

Answer

No. Since we are not blocking hotel rooms, we aren't booking a bus for guests. The venue is incredibly accessible via car or public transportation.
