Where is the wedding ceremony?

Answer

We are having an open ceremony at First Baptist Church Metropolis, 307 Massac Creek Rd, Metropolis IL. 62960. All are welcome to attend however our reception is by invitation only!

What is the dress code?

Answer

We ask that if you are attending the reception to please dress in at least semi formal attire. For men Khakis and a dress shirt or a full suit is wonderful. For women your best Sunday dress would be perfect. Our bridal party will be in greens and pinks!

Who should I contact if I have questions?

Answer

While we understand that weddings can bring about a lot of questions, we ask that you do not ask Sara or Caed the day of the wedding! Our amazing bridal party is well informed and will be more than happy to answer any questions! Gracie Taylor: 618-638-6971 Megan Park: 270-703-3494

Can I bring my children to the reception?

Answer

We absolutely adore little ones however due to venue seating we have chosen to keep our reception adults! We encourage you to think of it as date night to get out and have some fun!

Can I come if I don’t RSVP?

Answer

We ask that you please RSVP by May 1, 2026 so that we can provide final counts to our vendors. After that we will unfortunately not be able to accommodate any responses and ask that you celebrate with us only at the ceremony.

Will there be a open bar/alcohol?

Answer

We will have a limited selection of wines available from purple toad, they will also offer a cash bar inside the tasting room. There will be no unlimited open bar.

Can I bring a Plus One?

Answer

Due to venue seating we are only able to accommodate those on the invitation! If you received a plus one, it will show under your name when you rsvp on the website!
