Funny enough, Brenden and Sara initially met when they were sophomores in high school. Sara was 15 years old and Brenden was 16 years old. Little did they know they would be getting married 9 years later!

Brenden and Sara reconnected in the Spring of 2021. Brenden asked Sara to go on a date with him... one that consisted of sushi, ice cream, and meeting his fish, Gordon. Sara played hard to get at first, but she knew he was the one!

Brenden planned a surprise proposal during Sara's family vacation to the Florida Keys. Each couple had reservations, or so Sara thought, for date night on the trip. Really, everyone knew what Brenden was up to. One couple even made up a fake restaurant reservation, lol! Brenden made a special dinner reservation for him and Sara at the resort his parents fell in love at. Brenden had them arrive early to the resort, so they had time to walk around and learn more about the place his parents met. Little did Sara know, Brenden was actually searching for the proposal spot he and the photographer had planned. Brenden got down on one knee in a palm tree paradise and asked Sara the most important question of their lives. After Sara said YES!, a photography session and special dinner awaited them on the resort. To cap off the evening, Sara's family surprised them with a champagne toast and celebration at the beach house.
