Sara and Blaine met seven years ago in Los Angeles at a bar in Venice Beach. There were football games playing on all the TVs, one of them being NC State. Sara was weirdly excited to spot her hometown team on at a random bar in LA… and then Blaine entered the picture, immediately trying to convince the bartender to switch the channel to UGA vs. Notre Dame (classic). Blaine lives for sports and Sara… not so much, so it’s funny that a game brought them together. But that moment ended up changing everything. They started talking, instantly hit it off, grabbed dinner, and ended the night watching the sunset on the beach. They talked for hours - about their families, how many kids they wanted, tattoos, and pretty much everything in between. It just clicked, they felt like home. After dating for a little while, life took them in different directions and they decided to stay friends. Fast forward a year: Sara moved back to North Carolina during COVID while Blaine stayed in LA. They lost touch for a bit, and somewhere along the way, both happened to have a bit of a glow-up (lol). Out of the blue, Blaine started reaching out again and eventually asked Sara to be his plus-one at his cousin’s wedding in St. Louis (shoutout Rebecca and Ryan). Sara had never been to St. Louis - new city, open bar, nothing to lose - so she said yes. The moment they saw each other again after more than a year apart, they just knew. After a week spent together with Blaine’s family, they were inseparable. Blaine returned to LA, Sara went back to North Carolina, but they talked every single day. A few months later, Sara moved back to LA, and they officially started dating. Nearly five years later, they’ve built a life in Nashville and got a dog that they both love more than anything, Leo. Blaine surprised Sara and proposed in Costa Rica last year on the beach at sunset - truly one of the most unforgettable moments of our lives. Now, they are ready to get married in Key Largo surround by all of their favorite people. We can't wait to celebrate with you all!
