See Manatees!
Bairs Cove boat ramp is great to see manatees and dolphins from land or launch a kayak to explore the area by water! It's also a great place for kayaking after dark as it's one of the best places to see bioluminescence in the area!
Go to the Beach!
All of our favorite beach accesses are in Melbourne Beach! Head to the beach for a majestic sunrise walk and maybe you'll be lucky enough to catch the tail end of a nesting sea turtle momma or possibly some baby sea turtles. The further South you go in Melbourne Beach, the more likely you are to see sea turtles and evidence of sea turtles! All County-owned beach access are free to park in! Here is the list in order from N to S depending on where you are staying: Cocoa Beach - Lori Wilson Park ALL beaches across from Patrick Space Force Base (Tables, Blockhouse, 2nd Light, and Hangar's Beach) Indian Harbour Beach/Indialantic - Canova Beach Park, Bicentennial Park, Paradise (nicest volleyball courts!) Melbourne Beach - Spessard Holland North, Spessard Holland South, Val M. Steele, Juan Ponce de Leon, Bonsteel
