Katie and I met when we were 16, while we were working on our tans, I mean saving lives lifeguarding at the Huntington Yacht Club. Katie is my Cristina Yang to Meredith Grey (Grey's Anatomy reference). Katie is my person, my best friend, my family. She is loving, caring, real, charismatic, and the funniest girl I know, everything you would want in a best friend. She can very easily put a smile on my face, brighten up my day with her bubbly personally, and knows how to listen and give the best heart felt advise. We have been through a lot since we were 16, I am forever grateful for to call her my best friend and sister (because my family loves her like she is their own).

I am forever grateful for my first job at LIJMC on Labor and Delivery; this is where I met my work wife Jen. We were on orientation and bonded over sharing a "neopuff" (it is an airway machine that is very important to have in a delivery of a baby). Jen is not only the sweetest nurse but the sweetest best friend. She puts 110% into her job and does the same with her friendships. Jen is not only beautiful but she is easy going, reliable, fun, trustworthy, and always there for you when you need her.

Anna and I met through our Delta Gamma Sorority. We both bonded over our love for road trips, which include jamming out in the car (Anna has a lovely voice, and me, well cover your ears, but we were a perfect duet). Even though I am older, Anna may be a bit wiser. She has a beautiful soul and has taught me many life lessons, like how short and sweet life can be but how to enjoy the ride and smile through it. We are opposite but balance each other out and just get each other. She is not only my Little in my sorority family but she is like the little sister I never had but always wanted.

Katie and I were friends before we were even born. Our moms and my Aunt (who is also Katie's Godmother) were friends since they went to Huntington High School. We both started out young being bold and bossy fighting for our Godmother's attention and now our friendship that has grown closer and closer and we are still bold and bossy. I admire Katie's ability to win any argument (she is a lawyer, and damn good one), and her physical and mental strength (even though we tend to both be hypochondriacs). I love how much she values her family and I happy she is a part of mine.

Kerrijane and I met in high school homeroom. At first, we were not to sure about each other, but then KJ and I came to our senses. We realized we like to work hard but party harder; which, led to a perfect friendship. KJ has been a big part of my life, she has been there for me when I needed her most, like during the passing away of my Nani. I am truly thankful to have her as a friend because she is as real as it gets. She has been such a wonderful constant in my life and I am forever grateful for her support, advice, and friendship.

Christine (Wean) and I met when we were 5 years old. Our kindergarten through 8th grade school might not have provided us with the best education (e.g Ms. Hill) but it helped create the best friendships. When I went to visit Christine in her new town Seattle, she gave me the courage to make an online dating profile. If she didn't push me out of my comfort zone I would not have met Ben. I have looked up to Christine since we were little; she is so smart, pretty, loves to travel, take risks, and can quote any movie or tv show. Thank you for being such a positive friend and influence in my life.

Olivia and I met the first week of college at The University of Tampa during sorority recruitment. We were lucky enough to both match with Delta Gamma. Olivia is someone I automatically felt comfortable and accepted around when I meet her because her smile is contagious and personality is full of life. We got to experience college in the sunshine state, snowboarding adventures in Wyoming, and nights out in NYC. I admire her for always seeking adventure and having the biggest heart and free spirit. Even though she now lives in Jackson Hole, WY, when we get to see each other we pick up right where we left off.
