It has four lines (blue, yellow, green, and red) and is a great option for avoiding traffic. 1. Trams Lisbon’s iconic yellow trams, especially Tram 28, are a must-try! These historic trams wind through the city's hills, offering stunning views of neighborhoods like Alfama, Baixa, and Graça. Modern trams also operate on longer routes. 2. Buses Lisbon’s bus network covers areas where the metro doesn't reach. Night buses are available for late-night travel, and Carris operates both buses and trams. 3. Taxis & Ride-Sharing Taxis are readily available and relatively inexpensive. Ride-sharing apps like Uber, Bolt, and Free Now are also available. 4. Trains For day trips, Lisbon’s train network is excellent. You can take a train from Rossio Station to Sintra, Cais do Sodré to Cascais, or Oriente to other cities like Porto or Faro.
