The Story of Us
Our story began in the simplest way—a shared table in our early-morning art class during senior year of high school. At 8 a.m., Sara sat down beside Ayan with a cheerful, “Hi! We’re going to be best friends!” Ayan, not much of a morning person, replied with a skeptical, “Good luck!”
It didn’t take long for Sara to win that challenge. Soon, they were talking about everything under the sun, and Ayan realized he kinda liked Sara’s cheerful presence. The two began spending all of their time together.
One day, Sara heard Ayan rehearsing "Cough Syrup" by Young the Giant for select ensemble and fell in love with Ayan's happiness and ease. She listened to that song every day for the next 10 years!
The story of us holds too many memories to capture here, but it began with a wonderful friendship and grew into an unwavering love full of laughter, joy, and music (our favorite).
We wouldn’t have it any other way.
