The couple met at UConn in 2015 through mutual friends. For Andrew, it was love at first sight, but Sara wasn't as convinced. Luckily, he was persistent and eventually won her over with his kind heart. She asked him to her sorority formal on April 11, 2015 where Andrew officially asked her to be his girlfriend. Following graduation in May 2017, Sara and Andrew each moved to New York City and supported one another through first jobs, first adult apartments and Sara applying to law school. When Sara decided to attend UConn Law and move back to Connecticut, Andrew immediately started looking for a job so the couple could be together. Andrew now works at ESPN in Bristol and the two reside in West Hartford with their dog, Remy. On May 15, 2020, Andrew asked Sara to spend forever with him at Jones Beach on Long Island which could not have been more perfect!
