We are so excited to share the beautiful state that is New Hampshire with you! The wedding is taking place in New London, but there are several small towns nearby that would be great places to stay (more info in the Lodging section). The most important thing to note is that you'll need a car to get around - Public transit (including cabs & Uber) doesn't really exist up here!

Lodging Info

If you're Google searching for a place to stay, the best bet is New London where the wedding is taking place, but Newbury, Sunapee, and Sutton are also great options - these little towns are all pretty close together. New London is the most populous at a whopping 5,000 inhabitants and you'll have the most options there. We recommend the Edgewood Inn, the New London Inn or the Pleasant Lake Inn - level 10 quaint & adorable. Airbnb is another excellent option - There's so much natural beauty in New Hampshire, that you could find a really cool lakeside abode, something with a mountain view, or something nestled in the woods. But word on the street is that things get booked up fast in the summer, so we recommend booking early Lastly, there's a big hotel in Sunapee called the Mountain Edge Resort which is probably more affordable, and is an easy trip to New London.

Driving info

While anyone driving will likely be using GPS, just wanted to mention that even though New Hampshire is a very rural state, it's an easy cruise to New London or Georges Mills, next door, from basically anywhere. New London is directly off of Exit 11 or exit 12 on Interstate 89, which connects to both I-91 and I-93, which in turn are accessible from I-84 and I-95 (and the Merritt Parkway for you Connecticut folks).

Flying Info

Boston's Logan airport (~2 hours from New London) and New Hampshire's Manchester airport (about ~1 hour from New London) are both good options if you're flying in. As mentioned, we recommend renting a car, because even if you get a bus into town, you'll need a car to get around.

Bus / Train Info

We're not sure if the below is still valid given Covid, but if you're interested in bus or train travel, here's what to look into: For those arriving from points South of New Hampshire, which we imagine is most folks, there are several good bus options, though again you'll probably need a car once you get here so it may make more sense to rent a car for the weekend. That being said, if you want to bus, Dartmouth Coach and Concord Coach offer routes from NYC, but they sell out quickly so buy early. Alternatively, you can take a Megabus etc. to Boston, then the Dartmouth or Concord Coaches up to New Hampshire. Lastly, there's Amtrak service to White River Junction which is somewhat close, but more expensive than the buses.
