What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code is semi-formal attire. Cocktail/long dresses/skirts for the ladies and suits or dress shirts for the gentlemen (ties completely optional). The ceremony will be on grass so we advise to not wear stiletto heels!

Is parking available at the wedding?

Answer

Parking at the ceremony site is very limited- because of the beach, street parking fills up very quickly on a summer Friday and there likely will not be availability. We do not recommend counting on this option. Better options for getting there include the following: - A shuttle bus will be provided from the Hampton Inn in downtown Portsmouth to the ceremony & reception, and back (~15 minute ride) - Uber is a great option and always available in Portsmouth! (it will likely be difficult to get one in York at the end of the night but the shuttle will make several trips back downtown) - Parking is available at Fosters, our reception venue, which is a 0.7 mile walk to the ceremony at Hartley Mason Reserve (cars may be left overnight & picked up by noon Saturday)
