Sara and Rachel (AKA Waffle) have been best friends and sisters since 8th grade. Rachel has been a loyal and caring friend to Sara throughout middle school, high school, college, the workforce, and the craziness of life! In high school, they would pass notebooks in the hall detailing, in secret code of course, which boys they were crushing on that day. Now their forever boy code will be B (for Rachel's husband Bob) and A (for Adam). Even though Rachel has moved all over the country, they have never grown distant. In fact, they get to go on adventures no matter where she moves from the beaches and markets in Charleston, SC to dueling pianos and zoos in San Diego, CA, these two are always having a good time.

Dan and Adam first met on the Downers Grove South speech team, becoming instant “Flamingos” after realizing they were carbon copies of Denny Crane and Alan Shore from ABC’s Boston Legal. After nearly 20 years of friendship, Dan and Adam now communicate exclusively in inside jokes and references from countless Canadian excursions, balcony scenes, “executive” hiking trips, parody songs, rib restaurants, Keith Urban concerts, and impromptu Milwaukee road trips!

Jordan was Sara's first friend! Sara and Jordan first met as little girls playing dolls at each other's houses. Even though Jordan's family ended up moving, Sara and Jordan always pick up right where they left off every time they see each other. Distance never matters when you have a friendship this strong! Their times together are filled with laughter, shopping, and lots of sweets! Jordan is a wonderful wife and mother of two adorable daughters, Sophie and Lucy. Sara is so thankful for their long-term friendship.

Mike and Adam were both born on Longford Street less than a week apart. This brief, 5-day period before they were friends is now referred to by historians as the dark ages! Whether it be helping David Copperfield restore the time stones in Las Vegas, catching Brutus Buckeye’s walk of shame after crashing each other’s college parties, dominating neighborhood flashlight tag, or taking the Trailblazer to White Castle, Mike and Adam always find themselves doing something insanely fun!

Sara met Mary when Sara met Adam's best man, Dan (now Mary's fiancé!) and they immediately hit it off as great friends themselves! Mary is always the life of the party, can dance like no one is watching, and is always up for having fun and celebrating. She is a talented journalist for ABC News in New York City and a world traveler. Sara, Adam, Dan, and Mary look forward to traveling all over the world together and splitting so, so many appetizers everywhere they go!

Seth and Adam first became friends in law school, bonding over cast-iron steaks. While their friendship has matured to include banana coladas in Ft. Myers, Lawry’s movie theater mashed potatoes, and the superior north suburban fried chicken at Ravina, the common theme is that Seth is Adam’s wittiest friend who can riff on anything and everything for hours on end. It’s no wonder why their spouses instantly know who it is whenever the phone buzzes for the 100th time that hour!

Growing up, Jessie was the older sister that Sara never had, and always the girl Sara looked up to. Sara has always admired and tried to emulate Jessie’s impeccable fashion sense, intelligence, and incredible confidence and poise. As adults, Sara loves how Jessie is a wonderful wife and mother to three darling girls, Charlotte, Caroline, and Claire.

Josh and Adam met during the first week of college in the John Glenn Fellowship at THE Ohio State University. Adam instantly thought that Josh, the Hebrew-speaking, Karate black belt, championship wrestler from Hollywood was the coolest guy on planet Earth and they’ve been inseparable ever since. Josh was the driving force that talked Adam into eating a roasted scorpion in Thailand, running with the bulls in Spain, and even asking Sara out on their first date. Josh has always been the best influence!

Ilina and Sara met at Northern Illinois University while getting their MBAs! They always had the best time working hard in class and unwinding after at Cooper’s Hawk for dinner and to celebrate. Nala (Ilina's adorable Belgian Malinois) has been by their sides since they met, despite Sara’s allergies. Sara and Ilina love hiking, Starbucks, and monopolizing Adam’s living room. Ilina is the kind of girl who will drop everything to help her friends and family or just celebrate their successes.

Vijay and Adam met on their first day of high school in the freshman jazz band. They graduated together four years later… still in the freshman jazz band! The now DOCTOR Vijay is one of Adam’s oldest friends. Adam credits their friendship to Vijay, the ever-strong silent type, always letting Adam run his constant motor mouth! Adam wouldn’t trade their history of jalebi & dosas, backyard bonfires, Bears parties with Cathy’s fudge brownies, and downtown steakhouses for the world!

Erin and Sara met when Erin planned an incredible birthday party for Adam's groomsman Mario. From the moment Sara met Erin, she could tell what an amazing, sweet person she was and knew they would be close friends! Erin and Sara can always have the best of times, whether it be on a party trolley, tubing on Lake Michigan, having brunch in downtown Chicago, or just gossiping on the couch with a glass of wine. Erin and Sara never struggle to be themselves and have fun.

Mario first met Adam when he overheard him ranting at a party about how the Galactic Empire are actually the good guys in Star Wars. While Adam would like to think their friendship blossomed out of his nuanced takes on centralized authority, we both know it was because of his and Mario’s shared love for the White Sox, good beer, better bourbon, and the best of times. Mario and Adam together are the life of the party everywhere they go from Door County to Goose Island!

“Jac-Jac” is one of the purest girls you will ever meet and is one of Sara’s oldest friends. She is like a Disney princess but has the confidence of a strong independent woman. She is always the happiest person in the group and is so genuine. Sara admires her attitude and sweetness. When Jaclyn is around, everything is brighter. Sara really appreciates her friendship and kindness!

Adam’s future brother-in-law, Will, and Adam’s mutual love of Star Wars, politics, business, and BBQ ribs make it no secret why Adam has always felt so welcome in the Crews family. Always quick with those one-liners, Will and Adam hit it off right away. Adam looks forward to years of more stories and adventures!

Sara met Lillie a couple of months after dating Adam. She is always a bright and sweet person to be around. She is gorgeous inside and out and really cares for her family. Any time Sara needs her, she is always there with a helping hand, even if it’s attached to a broken elbow! Sara is so grateful for Lillie’s help with the Save the Date cards and for teaching Sara the finer points of baking Challah! Sara is excited to call Lillie her sister-in-law!

Adam and his brother-in-law, Nate, have had an incredible time bonding over their love of Napoleonic history, taste for single malt scotch, and shared trauma over having to live with Lillie! While only knowing each other for a couple of years, Adam feels like Nate has been with him his entire life, mostly because Brian has been telling the same seven family stories on a loop since Nate first came over to meet the Kase’s!
