The Wedding Website of Sara Whitaker and Aaron Whitaker
If you have any questions other than what we've listed here, please feel free to reach out to us.
Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP as soon as possible. In light of COVID, we may be restricted on who can attend. We ask that you RSVP by September 1 at the absolute latest. Make sure to specify who in your party will/will not be able to attend. *Due to Covid, if you are receiving your invitation within a few weeks of the RSVP deadline, please know we understand you may need more time past the deadline to RSVP. Please let us know as soon as possible.*

Question

Should I be vaccinated for Covid-19 in order to attend the wedding?

Answer

Yes! We would prefer you have been fully-vaccinated for Covid-19 to attend the wedding. We will have both younger children and older attendees, and would like to keep our family and friends safe. If for some reason you are unable to get vaccinated, we will of course understand special circumstances so please reach out to us. All unvaccinated guests should wear a mask for the safety of all guests.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Most invitations will be addressed directly to the people invited. If you are interested in bringing a plus-one, please reach out to us directly; because of Covid our number of guests will be limited.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Guests can begin to arrive at the venue at 3:00pm. We will be starting the ceremony at 3:30pm, so please be sure to arrive and be seated by that time.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code is casual to semi-formal! We ask that you dress nicely, but also to your level of comfortability.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Please reach out to us directly if you have children that you would like to accompany you, but were not listed as guests on the invitation address. If your invitation was addressed as a family, then everyone in your family is invited! Please remember to RSVP so we know exactly who to expect will be at the wedding.

Question

Is there parking?

Answer

Yes, we have rented a field right next to the venue for guests to park at. There will be signs showing you where to park.

Question

If I am buying a gift off of the registry, should I bring it to the wedding or have it shipped directly to you?

Answer

If you can, please send your gifts directly to our home address so we do not have to ship them again from Washington to Nevada. Our registry should provide a way to choose this option, and if not, you can reach out directly to us for our address.

Question

If I cannot attend the wedding, is there another way to watch the ceremony?

Answer

Yes! Unfortunately, we will not be able to live stream the wedding. However, we will still film the ceremony and share at a later time with those who are not able to attend. More information about this to come.
