COVID-19 FAQs

We have received a few questions from guests recently regarding COVID-19 concerns and wanted to provide as much transparency to our event so we can all celebrate safely, and so that guests can make informed decisions. We continue to monitor the COVID-19 situation in the Denver and Jefferson Counties and will look to local and county guidance, as well as our venue, to establish any additional protocols.
Question

Do I need to be vaccinated?

Answer

We certainly hope all our guests are vaccinated as it is an important measure to mitigate the spread of COVID-19. However, we understand that there might be some guests who are unable to get a vaccine due to health or age. We will not be asking the vaccination status of our guests and instead will entrust our guests to make the appropriate actions to ensure the safety of all our loved ones.

Do I need to wear a mask?

Answer

Following current local guidelines, masks are not required but are recommended. We will have some masks on hand for anyone who forgets or would like one, as well as hand sanitizer at all events. We strongly encourage any unvaccinated guests to wear a mask throughout the weekend.

Are we required to take a COVID test?

Answer

Yes -- if you are not vaccinated, we are asking you to please get a COVID-19 test 48 hours prior to the weekend’s events. You can find a free local testing place through Colorado’s testing website: https://covidcheckcolorado.org/. We also recommend ordering an at home test kit from: https://www.pixel.labcorp.com/. Results will be received 1-2 days from the receipt at lab. Lastly, we will also have a few at-home rapid tests available on hand for those who have trouble making an appointment. What are the conditions of the venue?

Answer

While we hoped to find an outdoor venue to showcase the beauty that is Golden, Colorado, we fell in love with The Rose, an indoor concert and event space. With that said, it features high ceilings, a mezzanine level, lobby and has a capacity of 300 seated (600 standing), so there should be plenty of room to social distance for those who need space.

How many guests are you expecting?

Answer

There will be just shy of 100 guests in attendance. As mentioned, the venue can accommodate up to 300 so we are well under capacity.

What if I need to change my RSVP?

Answer

While we hope that these protocols make everyone feel safe and comfortable, if you are no longer able to attend, please let us know as soon as possible at evan.katz20@gmail.com or 678-925-1556.

How will updates or changes to these guidelines be shared with us?

Answer

This is a fluid situation, and we anticipate that protocols could change between now and our wedding weekend. Please refer to our website to stay up to date. If there are any important updates, we will send an email to all guests.
