Saphron and Noah met while serving as full-time missionaries for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Nouméa, New Caledonia. What began as a simple connection quickly turned into a close friendship on the mission, built on faith, service, and shared mission moments. Saphron returned home from her mission, keeping in contact with Noah. They were able to get to know each other more and grew their friendship even further. Saphron was left to patiently wait for Elder Lewis to finish his service. Before long, six months had passed, and Elder Lewis had finally returned home from his mission. The two were joyfully reunited and made their relationship official. What once was a friendship deepened into something meaningful which they both knew was worth holding onto. After a whole year of long distance dating (flying across the world to be with each other, endless FaceTime calls, and managing the crazy time difference) Noah asked for Saphron’s hand in marriage, which of course she said YES! Finally bringing a close to the distance. They now look forward to being sealed together for time and all eternity. What began as a sacrifice to serve the Lord became their greatest blessing. A simple reminder that God is willing to bless those that are willing to sacrifice their time and efforts for him 🤍
