Chan and I met our freshman year of college as we were suitemates. We quickly hit it off and would hang out all the time on campus and at his house on the weekends. After college, it was tough to find time to hang out as I moved to Boston, but whenever we did, it always felt like time never passed. That's what I appreciate the most about our friendship. We've always been there for each other through our ups and down, and I couldn't imagine anyone else as my best man.

I've known Fujie since college, but I wouldn't say I was close to him until the past few years when we lived down the street from each other in Chinatown. I can always count on Fujie to come over and have a good time any day of the week. We might be TOO comfortable with one another when we do embarrassing things to each other, even in public. Hopefully you won't see any of that at the wedding lol.

If you see how Nessa and I interact regularly, you would probably think we hate each other but it's all tough love. Nessa has been such a constant person in my life (aside from the fact that she's actually family) and moving apart from each other has made us grown so much closer. We can share a lot of secrets and talk personally to each other, and there is no judgement because we accept each other for who we are. We even have not one, but TWO matching tattoos together!

Though we may joke with each other a lot, we can also have meaningful conversations with one another when it matters the most which is why I value our friendship so much.

I met Linda through my sister back when I was in elementary school. She watched me grow through my emo phase (lol) and through all my important moments, Linda has always been there for me. She's become my older sister too, and she's my Virgo twin. With Linda, there's a level of comfort that I get just being myself and I'm lucky to have her in my life.

I swear Austin hated me in college since he was always mean to me. But once I actually started to hang out with him, I realized how funny and kind he is. He is always down to walk with me whenever I take Zuko on a walk, and we can conversate about pretty much anything. He's also another person I can depend on whenever we need some after work drinks.

Barbara was my first friend in the Boston/Rhode Island area and I'll never forget that. Over time, Mike and I started to call her our daughter because of the amount of time we spent together and the countless sleepovers we have had with her. From trying new food together to binge watching new kdramas together, I have really appreciated our friendship. Even though we've known each other for a shorter time than the rest, I'm happy to have her stand by my side.

Similar to Fujie, I got closer to Zhen when I moved to Chinatown. We always hung out whenever Sao made food or on the weekends for EDM shows. He's someone I can rely on, except when he brings over a 30 pack of Coors Lights. I'm ecstatic to have him by my side as a groomsman for this special day.
