It all started when Sanya and Manmeet both swiped right on Tinder. Sanya didn't have a car and didn't feel like taking the CTA to go on a date, so she set her radius for one mile in Tinder’s search settings. Turns out, Manmeet lived in the building right across the street! Sanya and Manmeet probably crossed paths multiple times in the past, and shared the same bus stops, corner stores, and crosswalks for two whole years before they would officially meet one another. The moment they met, it felt like they’d known each other their whole lives—and possibly, in previous lifetimes before this one. As of May 2026, they'll officially have been together for 7 years. Sanya and Manmeet have been through hell and back, and almost everything has changed. The one thing that stays constant, is their love and commitment for one another. They have stuck by each other's side through sickness and health, through unemployment and promotions, through cross country moves and long distance during a global pandemic. Although this is a celebration of the love Sanya and Manmeet share and have built together, this is also a celebration of everyone who supported and uplifted them the whole way.
