What is the attire?

Formal/Black Tie Optional - We want you to come dressed to impress! We suggest men wear a suit (feel free to be bold and wear a tux!) and women wear a cocktail dress, evening gown or a nice pantsuit

Where can I park at the venue?
Answer
PARKING: You can either park on the street (it's free on the weekends) OR There is a public parking lot located on Polk Street (directly across the street from Merrimon Wynne). The following are driving directions: Traveling down Blount Street from Peace Street, you will pass The Merrimon-Wynne House on your left. Take an immediate left on Polk Street and the parking lot will be located on your right between Blount and Person Street. Traveling down Person Street from Downtown Raleigh, you will turn left on Polk Street and the parking lot entrance will be on your left, just past The Burning Coal Theater.

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Weather permitting, both! However in case of inclement weather, we have spaces indoors that will be used for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception

Please check your formal invitation/RSVP as we will only be able to accommodate those listed

Do we have to stay in the Hyatt House?
Answer
No! You can stay wherever you would like! Raleigh has a ton of hotel options - this was just the one hotel we could do a complimentary room block with. Feel free to stay at any hotel, airbnb or Vrbo rental!

Should I rent a car?
Answer
Not necessary! Downtown Raleigh is an extremely walkable city and if you want to explore elsewhere, Ubers and Lyfts are always available!
Question
Will there be transportation provided to the venue from the Hyatt House or surrounding areas?
Answer
No, the Hyatt house is only a few blocks away. If you are staying further out, you can either drive (there is a parking lot across from the venue that is free) or you can use Uber or Lyft!
