Born and raised in Eastland, Texas, Santino and Mayra first met as friends at Eastland High School, where few would have guessed their friendship would one day turn into love. After graduation, Santino attended the University of Texas at Austin, while Mayra enrolled at Texas State University, a mere 30 miles (and 50 minutes down I-35) apart. During the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, their friendship deepened and eventually blossomed into a loving relationship. In late 2022, they moved from Austin and San Marcos to Kyle, Texas, and two years later, they relocated to Leander. On July 7, 2024, Santino proposed to Mayra at Cannon Beach, Oregon, and they've been joyfully planning their wedding ever since!
