Things To Do

We are so excited for you non-locals to visit our neck of the woods for a weekend. Below are some recommendations of places Miguel & Belen love to do on a regular weekend in Tyler. If you are not from Tyler and need a church to attend on Sunday, we highly recommend our church, Grace Español. If you are not a spanish-speaker, they do have translation headphones available or there is an English service in the same building.

Iglesia Grace Español

3215 Old Jacksonville Highway, Tyler, TX 75701

True Vine Brewing Company

2453 Earl Campbell Parkway, Tyler, TX 75701

We went here on our first date and it is actually right next to our wedding venue!

Neighbors Coffee

223 South Main Street, Jacksonville, TX 75766

We love going here on Saturdays! The atmosphere is great and their coffee does not disappoint!

Downtown

Tyler, TX 75702

There are so many options here! Our favorite Mexican restaurant (Don Juans), coffee shops, Thomas Hotel (bar), Andys (frozen custard), and so much more!

Paleteria Polar

917 South Vine Avenue, Tyler, TX 75701

This is one of many of the locations in Tyler but it is the only one who was tacos, sopes, enchiladas, etc. 10/10 recommend.

Tyler State Park

789 Park Road 16, Tyler, TX 75706

It is a bit out of the way but in the case that you and your family arrive a day prior, this is a perfect chance to spend some time with your kids, loved ones and see the beauty that is East Texas.

Brady's Specialty Coffee

309 West Rusk Street, Tyler, TX 75701

Not only is this one of Tyler's best coffee shops (if not the best), it is conveniently located inside of the Historic Azalea District of Tyler. Belen used to live in a duplex near it and would always ask me for coffee before I stopped by her apartment and it is actually how she got inspired to name her dog, Azalea.

For all the days along the way
