I am staying on the property for the weekend. What should I do about food?

Answer

Each cottage/yurt has either a kitchen or kitchenette. There is also an on-site cafe that serves breakfast and lunch. Also the property is a short drive to Lenoir and Morganton that have many dining options.

We hope you are having such a great time that you don't even look at your phone! But if you need to, the cafe and common buildings near the beach have WIFI.

I am staying at BMBR but I do not want to participate in all the planned activities. Is that okay?

Answer

Absolutely! Let us know if you would like to partake in any of the activities on the RSVP page but feel free to enjoy the weekend how you chose.

Question

How do I know which cottage/yurt I will get? And how does payment work?

Answer

BMBR can sleep 80 guests. After the couple has received all RSVPs, they will help those who would like to stay on the property chose a cottage/yurt. Some family and groups of friends may need to share in order to make space for everyone. There are only so many small yurts and ideally those would be used by guests travelling from out-of-state. Once placements are finalized, you will receive an invoice directly from BMBR.

What if it rains?

Answer

The plan is for an outdoor wedding but in the case of rain, it will be moved indoors. Make sure to be a jacket in case its cold!

The couple is providing beer and wine as well as two signature cocktails. There will also be non-alcoholic options.

Cada cabaña/yurta tiene cocina o zona de cocina. También hay una cafetería que sirve desayunos y almuerzos. Además, la propiedad está a poca distancia en auto de Lenoir y Morganton, que tienen muchas opciones para comer.

¿CÓMO SÉ QUÉ CASA/YURT OBTENDRÁ? ¿Y CÓMO FUNCIONA EL PAGO?

Answer

BMBR tiene capacidad para 80 personas. Una vez que la pareja haya recibido todas las confirmaciones de asistencia, ayudarán a aquellos que deseen quedarse en la propiedad a elegir una cabaña/yurta. Es posible que algunos familiares y grupos de amigos necesiten compartir para dejar espacio para todos. Hay un número limitado de yurtas pequeñas e idealmente serían utilizadas por huéspedes que viajan desde fuera del estado. Una vez finalizadas las ubicaciones, recibirá una factura directamente de BMBR.

¿Y SI LLEVE?

Answer

El plan es celebrar una boda al aire libre, pero en caso de lluvia, se trasladará al interior. ¡Asegúrate de llevar una chaqueta por si hace frío!

¿CUÁL ES LA SITUACIÓN DEL BAR?

Answer

La pareja ofrecerá cerveza, vino, seltzers, un cóctel de whisky, un cóctel de vodka y jugo/refresco en la boda. ¡Para el fin de semana, BYOB!
