Our story begins at two different points in time. Laura remembers meeting Santiago summer of 2022 at Folsom Lake, his bold burgundy pants, boating flag shirt, and loud personality stood out to her. Santiago, first remembers meeting Laura later that year on December 31, 2022 at the legendary Davis Annual New Year’s party. Laura’s beautiful looks and sacrifice to let him use her phone for music left a good impression on him. As their friend groups merged, their relationship began. One night when hanging out with some friends, they went to explore the Old Sugar Mill and later stopped for tacos on Florin Road. That night Santiago was slick to ask Laura for her number to send her some pictures from the night . They slowly began talking and getting to know each other. Later that month, Santiago went to Shepherds Conference 2023, where he asked Laura what book she wanted as a gift. She wanted the 16 Attributes of God by AW Pink, being clever he got himself the same book and invited Laura to Thai Canteen to discuss the first few chapters. As they got to know each other, their friendship grew. Later that year on September 1st, 2023 at Boulder Ridge in Rocklin, Santiago asked Laura to officially start this journey to marriage.
