Thanks for being part of our adventure

Our first date was on September 29, 2019. It was a beautiful day. We met for coffee and pastries by the public garden mid-afternoon. We talked for hours and didn't want the date to end, so we got dinner and drinks at Citrus & Salt. We went for a long walk and had our first kiss and we both walked away knowing we had found someone special. By our third date we were both wondering if we had found "The One", but kept trying to play it cool even though we suspected we had found a best friend and a partner. The pandemic started in 2020 and brought us even closer. We were spending most of our off time together. We loved cooking at home, baking, and watching a lot of netflix. We never got bored together. For Santi, Isaac's company was a god send during those early and very scary days of the pandemic. In Summer 2021, Isaac got a new opportunity that moved him to Chicago. We were both scared of what long distance would mean for our relationship, but we were ready to face the challenge. We Facetimed almost every night, texted throughout the day, shared memes and TikTok’s, and had virtual date nights. Isaac did everything he could to visit Boston at least once a month, and Santi visited Chicago whenever residency didn't get in the way. Looking back, the distance made us closer. It helped us appreciate how lucky we were to have found each other and pushed us to find a way to come together again. Throughout this time, we knew we were serious about each other, and we were planning for our future. After much job searching and both of us looking for jobs in both cities, Isaac was able to move back to Boston. In July 2022 we moved in together. After much deliberations, we got a cat, Loki in January 2022 (the first expansion to our family). After even more deliberation, we bought out first home. And now we are lucky to share the beginning of the next chapter with all of you on October 28, 2023.
