There are several unique things to do nearby; Squaw Valley Golf Course, Fossil Rim Wildlife Center and Dinosaur Valley State Park are all within 15 minutes of La Palmilla. Equestrian tours of the State Park are available from Eagle Eye Ranch Carriage Company if that catches your fancy!

We highly recommend traveling to the DFW area while you're in town to check out the Fort Worth Stockyards and their daily cattle drive/live music/food and drink scene, the Cowtown Coliseum for a rodeo, the Fort Worth Botanic Gardens and so much more. :)
