From different corners of the world to the same celebration, our journey began in 2019—one flip cup at a time. Santiago’s adventure to the U.S. started in 2015, and by 2018, he was calling Orlando, Florida home, working for Universal and Disney. Briana arrived in 2019 to pursue an internship at Disney, setting the stage for our paths to cross. We both found ourselves at "Happy Mondays," a legendary flip cup event that brought together Disney’s international family. Though we brushed past each other a few times, it wasn’t until a summer water war—where we all acted like kids again—that our story truly began and we really got to know each other. A few months later, Santiago took a leap and asked Briana on a date to the movies. Briana, ever the Disney fan, gladly stepped out of line at Avatar in Animal Kingdom to say yes. From that moment forward, we were inseparable. Together, we’ve faced challenges, celebrated milestones, and made countless memories all over the world. Through thick and thin, we’ve stood side by side. Now, we’re ready to take the next step in our adventure, sealing our love as the Alvarez’s.
