When should I RSVP by?

Please return your RSVP card to the bride and groom via mail by June 1st, 2024. Thank you!

Are my children invited to the wedding?

Answer

While we love all of your little ones, we kindly request that both the wedding ceremony and reception are child-free events.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We recommend that you dress in semi-formal attire that is cool and comfortable in the July heat!

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Our venue strongly suggested that all guests plan to arrive at least 30 minutes prior to the ceremony start time. Wells is exceptionally busy and sees heavy traffic during the summer as it is tourist season in Maine!

Can I take photos and videos during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly request that you refrain from taking photos and videos during the wedding ceremony. We have opted for an unplugged ceremony, but will reserve a space during that time for guests to capture a few photos!

Will the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception be held indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Weather permitting, the wedding ceremony will be held outdoors in the venue’s gorgeous garden. The cocktail hour will be held in an indoor space with patio access that is outside. The wedding reception will be held indoors in the venue’s ballroom.

Will food and drink be provided?

Answer

During the cocktail hour, there will be a hosted bar and light hors d’oeuvres. The reception will feature a brunch buffet, and one drink ticket will be provided per guest. These tickets can be redeemed at the bar for soft drinks, mixed drinks, beer, or wine. Additional beverages can be purchased at the cash bar as well. Make sure to be on the lookout for a special “after dancing” snack during the reception!
