Will there be a shuttle from the hotel to the venue?

Answer

Yes! There will be a shuttle that will bring you from the hotel block hotels and the venue. There will be two trips from the hotels to the venue. We strongly recommend taking the first shuttle to make sure there is not over crowding on the second trip. Are there any other events?

Answer

No, there are no other official events, but Phil and Anna are planning on going out to the Tiki Bar and Grill in town on Friday night around 8 pm! Address: 85 Charles St, Solomons, MD 20688

How early can I arrive at the venue?

Answer

Please arrive by 5:15 pm to ensure you have time to get settled before the ceremony which starts at 5:30 pm. The museum does not close to the public until 5 pm so please plan accordingly.

Is everything at the same location?

Answer

Yes, the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will all take place at the Calvert Marine Museum.

Where do I park?

Answer

Calvert Marine Museum has a large parking lot on site with plenty of room.

What is the dress code?

Answer

Cocktail attire! Wear something fun and fashionable :)

Can I take pictures with my cell phone?

Answer

We want everyone to be in the moment and enjoy the short ceremony. Therefore we ask that you refrain from using your phone during the ceremony. We will share photos from our photographer with everyone. After the ceremony, have at it! We will have an app that you can upload all of your pictures to so that you can share with us and other guests!

Will we be inside or outside?

The ceremony and cocktail hour will be outside (weather permitting), the reception will take place in the museum.

What is the weather typically like in Solomons in October?

Answer

The average temperatures are near 65 degrees, with lows near 45 degrees. It is generally dry and sunny.

Do I get to see the museum exhibits?

Answer

Yes! We have access to the entire museum and the grounds for the entirety of the ceremony/reception. We hope you love it just as much as we do!

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes! There will also be two signature cocktails and two signature mocktails.

What if I have dietary restrictions?

Please submit your RSVP online no later than September 1st. If you end up running into a problem with the online system please let us know!

Is there a hotel block?

Answer

Yes there are two hotel blocks (check the travel page). One at the Hilton and one at the Solomons Inn Resort and Marina. There are many hotels and B&Bs in the area if you would prefer something different!
