A nuestras madres mi mamá Irma Martínez y la mamá de Alexis, María Espinoza, junto a nuestra querida Lucy Zamora, quienes son nuestros pilares y gran apoyo aquí en Oregón. A todos nuestros familiares aquí en Estados Unidos que nos acompañarán en este día. Al padre de Alexis, Simón Ulloa, junto a Gerardine y Valery en Chile; a mi padre, Flavio Martín Ramos, y Luz Faribe en México; y a todos nuestros seres queridos en Venezuela. Nuestra historia comenzó con un encuentro inesperado que el destino tenía preparado. Alexis llegó a mi lugar de trabajo para entregar un paquete, pero lo que parecía un día común se transformó en el inicio de algo mágico. Entre risas y una plática casual, mencioné que mi cumpleaños estaba cerca; con esa seguridad que me cautivó desde el primer segundo, él me aseguró que, de haber una celebración, él no podía faltar en la lista de invitados. ​Con el corazón acelerado y una sonrisa, le respondí: "Pero, ¿cómo piensas venir si ni siquiera tengo tu número?". Lo que empezó como un juego del destino, se convirtió en el capítulo más hermoso de nuestras vidas. ​Aunque estuvo a punto de marcharse, tuve que llamarlo antes de que cruzara la puerta para recordarle que aún no me había dejado su contacto. En ese instante, él decidió cambiar la idea de una fiesta por una cita formal, transformando un encuentro fugaz en la promesa de un amor para el resto de nuestras vidas. Hoy, al mirar atrás, agradecemos ese momento de audacia que nos unió y nos trajo hasta aquí: al inicio de nuestra vida juntos. ​Our story began with an unexpected encounter that fate had prepared for us. Alexis arrived at my workplace to deliver a package, but what seemed like an ordinary day was transformed into the beginning of something magical. With laughter and casual conversation, I mentioned my birthday was near; with the confidence that captivated me from the very first second, he assured me that if there were a celebration, he simply couldn't be missing from the guest list. ​With a racing heart and a smile, I replied: "But how do you plan on coming if I don't even have your number?". What started as a play of fate became the most beautiful chapter of our lives. ​Although he was moments away from leaving, I had to call out to him before he crossed the door to remind him that he hadn't left his contact info yet. In that instant, he decided to trade the idea of a party for a formal date, transforming a fleeting brief encounter into the promise to building our future together. Today, looking back, we are grateful for that moment of boldness that united us and brought us here: to the next big step in our journey .
