Let the Wine Trolley show you the way through Livermore’s historic region of scenic vineyards, incredible wine and outstanding hospitality. This is a 5 Star Tour that includes wine pairings, wine and painting, and, of course, sipping and enjoying lunch with friends and family. The trolley experience can get pricey, so we also suggest sampling the wineries without using the trolley. Livermore has many fine wineries and was "the original Napa Valley". Plenty of spots to sample, as well as enjoying the scenery of our little town.
"Home of the Worlds Longest Burning Light Bulb!" The Centennial Light is an incandescent light bulb recognized as the oldest known operating light bulb. It was first illuminated in 1901, and has only been turned off a few brief times since. It is open to public viewing. Due to its longevity, the bulb has been noted by The Guinness Book of World Records, Ripley's Believe It or Not!, and General Electric. This little wonder is something kinda fun to check out on your way around. I wouldn't make this your only stop for the day though.
We love going here to paint, don't worry if you're not artistic, they will guide you throughout the session!
Livermorium is a synthetic chemical element with the symbol Lv and atomic number 116. It is a radioactive metal and a member of the chalcogen group. It was named in honor of the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory and the city of Livermore, California. This little display is set up in our "bustling" downtown area. It's a little informative stop that discusses how Livermorium was created. A neat little spot to check out if you stop by the downtown area for some food or drink.
If you are planning to stay a little bit longer, it is your chance to see the best national park we've ever been so far! It is a 3-hr drive from Livermore.
We went here with friends and we loved the lake and the scenic views!
A day tour that we would recommend, we love the arcades and the rides at the pier!
We went here for Sarah's 30th birthday and we had fun watching the sea otters! Sarah was enchanted to meet them!
