Travel Note
- Plan to fly out 01/15 night or 01/16 morning. - You will arrive in Mumbai on 01/17 morning or afternoon depending on your flight of choice. This will give you a day to rest/settle in, and there will likely be a group activity in Mumbai on 01/18. - On the morning of 01/19, we will have buses arranged to take our group from Mumbai to Karjat. This is a short 2 hour drive. - After the wedding, there will be buses arranged to take everyone back to Mumbai on the morning of 01/21
Flight
If possible, please buy refundable tickets, this is just a precaution in case of any crises. We would suggest avoiding Air India.
Travel Note
If you hold an American passport, you will need a visa for India. For a short trip to attend the wedding, the 30-day eVisa is the simplest choice. The system typically processes applications within 3–4 business days. That said, the fee must be paid at least 4 days before your expected travel date for the application to be processed. We'd recommend applying at least 2 weeks before departure to be safe. What you'll need: - A valid US passport with at least 6 months of validity from your arrival date, and at least 2 blank pages for immigration stamps - A passport-style digital photo - A scan of your passport's biographical page
