Is there a dress code?
Answer
Our wedding is Black Tie Optional, which means formal attire is encouraged, but not required. Think elegant garden party with a touch of evening glamour. For Men: A tuxedo is welcome, but a dark suit and tie are perfectly appropriate. For Women: A floor-length gown, a fancy cocktail dress, or an elegant midi dress are all great options. We kindly ask that white, ivory, and cream be reserved for the bride on our special day.

Can I bring a plus-one?
Answer
If your invitation says “and guest,” we’d love for you to bring someone along! If not, we hope you understand that we’re keeping things intimate and are only able to accommodate those listed on the invitation.

Are kids invited?
Answer
While we love your little ones, we’re keeping our celebration mostly adults-only. If your children are included on your invitation, we’d love to have them there! Otherwise, we hope you’ll enjoy a fun night out with us.

Where should I stay?
Answer
Pleasantdale Chateau offers a limited number of on-site guest rooms for those who wish to stay at the venue. We have also reserved a block of rooms at the Courtyard West Orange at a discounted rate for your convenience. Will the ceremony/reception be indoors or outdoors?
Answer
Our ceremony will be held in a shaded area outdoors and the reception will be indoors at Pleasantdale Chateau.

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?
Answer
We kindly ask for an unplugged ceremony! We want you to be fully present with us as we say “I do.”

What should I do if I can’t make it?
Answer
If you are unable to join us, please let us know by submitting your RSVP as soon as possible. If you RSVP “yes” and experience an emergency or unexpected change in plans, we kindly ask that you notify us as soon as you are able. We completely understand that things happen, and we appreciate you keeping us informed.
